Illinois again

I have recently returned from yet another trip to Illinois. It's rather unfortunate that the drive takes so long. Especially now that I don't enjoy naps in the car.

On a happier note, I had a great time visiting family!  My big cousins were so much fun!  I'm learning all kinds of good things from the boys. 

Like, vegetables are just as yummy frozen. 

And it is actually not okay to try and run babies over with 4-wheelers. 

And swords are really the only way to pop bubbles. 

I learned that if you ask nicely that sometimes your elders will give you a lift. 

And that bath time is not just for getting clean, but also for having fun. 

And sometimes you just gotta let the wind blow through your hair. 

I learned that sometimes people will take things from you...

But there are good people who protect you (and feed you the stolen Cheerios so you can get some)

After observing the boys, I learned to help myself. 

And that chicks dig a guy in a truck. 

I also learned that Mimi is very talented. 

And that I'm very lucky. 

In addition to fun with those boys, I also enjoyed the company of many other family members. Like my cousin Laerin. 

And my great-great grandpa Rodger (who let me eat his tomatoes and his cup. I enjoyed the cup more). 

I also got to see one of my favorite dogs, Ranger. He helped me clean my hand n

I was sad to leave

But happy to go home

The whole trip was absolutely exhausting.
