Winter wonderland

My parents do nothing but complain about winter. "It's too cold" they say. And, "the roads are slick" they complain. I don't really see what their problem with winter is!  It's really just a load of fun!!  First off, when dads forget their water cups in the car, they freeze into a nice ice-pop. One that is perfect for enjoying in the shower. 

Then there are Christmas movies. They are amazing. And you get to wear you jammies while you watch them. And you get to have sips of hit chocolate. Another plus for winter. 

You also get to have parties (as you got to read about in my previous post. These parties contain something truly amazing... Cookies!! (I'm failing to see the negative in this season.)

Then, your mom usually drinks nice, hot coffee (who am I kidding?  That's year-round!). If you cry enough, she will sometimes share with you when it's cold outside to help keep you warm. 

Finally, you get to travel. I write this while I'm flying in the air!  No, I haven't turned into a bird, but rather I'm on an airplane flying to visit my mom's family. We will be enjoying lots of Christmas festivities (or so I'm told), and I can only assume it will be fun!  

Count them: FIVE reasons why winter is amazing. I will just about bet you that I will have even more reasons once we get landed and begin the Christmas celebrations!
