All of this at a PARK?!

Please don't be too jealous. Please. I know when I tell you about my newest adventures you will be. I beg of you, please don't be. I know you all get so tired of hearing about how amazing my current town is. And I know you're always jealous of the fun things I get to do. And I'm sorry. I really am. I wish you had the same opportunities that I have. Unfortunately you don't and I just live a much more exciting life. That's just the facts. #sorrtnotsorry

I just visited the most amazing park. THREE playgrounds, fishing, train and pony rides, miniature golf, a yellow brick road, paddle boats, PLUS I heard talk of a hayride and campfire. A-mazing.

Trains are my true passion (in addition to climbing, anything that moves, and whatever new toy I think I need). It was this passion that lead my parents to Watson Park for a train ride. Where has this been all my life?!

After a quick brake for playground fun, I hopped on a horse for a ride.

We finished up our fun with a paddle boat ride.

30 minutes was about 25 minutes too long. I had to have a talking-to when I tried to jump overboard when I thought we should be done. And really, 5 minutes is all you need for a ride. What were these people thinking?  It's not my fault I would rather be swimming.

At least I got to finish my ride on Daddy's lap (even if, I suspect, it was a ploy to keep me from trying to jump again$

Despite the boat ride, the park was too much fun for one day!  We had to quickly head home for a nap.

Cookie Bookie Club

I know you all remember my love for the Parents As Teachers program. In case you don't remember, kindly work towards a better memory. Thank you.

Well, PAT has done it again!  I attended my first cookie bookie club and it was delicious!

We ready a wonderful book where they went on a super scary bear hunt, and then got to take the book home!  My darling mother has fulfilled my need for repetition and read it to me over and over.

Then we were put to work on crafting things like caves and bears.

Here is the sample in comparison to my cave. I'll let you guess which one is mine.

And here is my bear vs. the sample. Again, I know it's hard to tell, but maybe you can guess.

Then we got to use playdoh!  I love a good playdoh session.

Finally, before we left, I got to have a COOKIE! Yes, a cookie!  And it was wonderful. So wonderful that I have continued to talk about it numerous times a day since it happened. I even wake up and, first thing in the morning, I talk about that perfectly delicious cookie. I can't wait for next time!!

Making Applesauce

Logan Gets Air

If you know me at all, you know just how much I like to move and groove. Climbing, jumping, running, rolling...these are a few of my favorite things. I try and force my parents to allow me to do these things often. And if they don't take me to the park or outside where they can be accomplished, I just do it on my bed. A boy's gotta do what a boy's gotta do... Well, these parents of mine finally go their act together and took me to a trampoline park. Thank you people!! At first I thought they took me to a block play-place!

But I quickly realized the extent of the park I climbed high And jumped even higher (or at least I thought I did) I'm just that good! I'm patiently (or not so patiently) waiting on them to take me again. I can't wait until I have my own car!
