The Day of Love

Valentine's Day is a special day where you can show the important people in your life just what they mean to you. I'm good enough that I do that every single day, but many are not a perfect as I.

To start things off, Mimi and Papa sent me a special valentine.

I love my new shirt AND Sammie the doll!

Then we celebrated with all my friends!

On top of all the playing, we also decorated our own cookies!!

And are them!

My favorite part of the day was stealing food from other people!  Yummy!

THEN, Mom still wasn't done!  My friend came to spend the day with me on Valentine's Day!

We met up with some other friends and played at Exploration Place!

We came home, had lunch, and I took a nap.

But word on the street is that Novalee didn't...

I then spent the rest of my evening mailing hearts to those in need.

Snow Baby

That white stuff showed back up at our house. It has kept my mom and I in the house for days on end. This has lead to lots of games, crafts, and boredom.  We have tried to make the best of it. I convinced her to finally take me out to play in the cold.

And she put me to work!

But I forgave her.

Then the next day we were still losing our minds from being stuck inside. Since it was so cold, Mom said I couldn't go outside, so she brought outside to me!

And boy was it yummy!!

So yummy, in fact, that I simply HAD to eat it in the tub!

The only thing more yummy than the snow was the special treat Mom and I prepared

15 months

My parents have this thing...they take me to a doctor at each milestone in my life. Here I am thinking, "Let's celebrate me being 15-months-old and so cute" and they are all like, "Instead we will hurt you." Not the best compromise.

At the doctor's office, they forced me to undress and lay on a cold scale. They figured out just how much I weighed and how tall I was. Good news, I'm in the 7th percentile for both!

Then they left me, undressed and cold, to do whatever my little heart desired.

Then the fun stopped and the doctor showed up. He started the torture session with sticking a cold circle on my back and chest. He then continued by shoving a pointy stick in my ears.

It was terrible. I thought that was the worse of it, but then things really picked up!  After he left, the nurse came back and had the audacity to stick me with a needle for a shot! It was terrible...and my parents just let it happen!!  Can you believe it?!

Cookin' and lookin' (good) on the learning tower

You. Guys. The most amazing thing came into my possission!  My Mimi had my special Charlie make me a learning tower. When I tell you this thing is amazing, it's an understatement!  I have spent my whooooole life wanting to be involved in whatever my mom is doing. When she was working in the kitchen she used to wrap me up on her back. That served its purpose (I could at least see), but I wasn't really satisfied. Finally, after 14 months of tantrums, I got to get involved in cooking!
