Cousin lovin' x2
Being a big cousin means that I have a great responsibility to show my baby cousin the ways of the world. Thankfully I got the opportunity to fulfill my destiny this week when mom and I braved the trip to Aunt Beth's all on our own.

Hold on to your hats
Hold on to your hats, guys, I've got a very exciting blog going for you!
Kansas has had rain. Lots and lots of rain. I'm told more than normal, but really, what do I know? This rain has prevented us from enjoying the great outdoors. And I love the outdoors. Thankfully this rain decided to finally give us a break. I decided to enjoy this break by playing in water. Yes, that makes sense.
In my old age I've learned to enjoy reading magazines.
I really do learn a lot
Have you ever ridden an airplane? I'm told this isn't normal, but I get to ride one every day! Guess I'm just lucky.
I've gotten so god that I now prefer to stand while riding. Sitting is for babies.
Another thing for babies is staying an the floor. Mom moved all my toy boxes so that I couldn't use then to step up on the fireplace, so now I have to get inventive.
I've got someplace to be, so I better blast off.
Brownstown Blues
My mom talked a lot (as usual) about something called convention this past week. She said that it was in some Brown Town. Who knows what this lady talks about sometimes. Seriously, you need an translator! Anyway, she seems to be sad because this is the first year she couldn't go to this convention in the Brown Town (or was it Brownstown?). To make her feel better, Dad and I took her to do lots of fun stuff this weekend.
They took me to my very first movie. It was such a treat because they don't let me watch ANYTHING at home. Nothing. Zip. Nada. So, I'm not really sure why they though it was a good idea to take me to a whole movie. In a theater. But, the fact remains that they did. They have little rooms set up for families with babies that cry (appropriately named "cry rooms"). Mom and Dad picked a fun movie (Planes) that had a cry room. We got ready, bought our tickets, went in, and found out that it was already full! So, lucky them, they got to take me in the regular theater. I enjoyed it a lot...at least the first 5 minutes. After that I was BORED!! And they wouldn't let me crawl! They brought the ergo and forced me to sleep with only 10 minutes left in the movie.
No fun filled weekend would be complete without a trip to the zoo.

Shutting the door
My mom is always in my business. As hard as I try, I can't get a single moment away from her. I've even tried shutting her out of my room, but even that can't stop her.
Maybe I should just accept my fate that she will always be watching...

A Weekend and Grandma and Grandpa's
This isn't the first time I've said it, and it won't be the last, but I've been so busy that I have had a hard time keeping up with this blog! Who knew that daily-ish would turn into weekly-ish?! Not I. Although, can you blame me? Really? I'm a BABY! An Infant. Someone who lacks understanding of time. Therefore, I believe I cannot be held accountable for my actions (or lack thereof).
Now, back on track. I visited my grandma and grandpa's new house last weekend! I had loads of fun, but riding in the car was NOT part of the fun. I'm so mad at my parents for forcing me to sit in the car for 5 hours each way that I have taken to screaming every time they try to put me in my carseat now. That will teach them!
Grandma LOVES to shop on facebook garage sale pages. She's really good a buying all kinds of great deals. She thought ahead and bought TWO of these awesome toys. Then Grandpa gave her a hard time and she sold one. Now us poor grandkids have to share one riding toy. We did our best.
Too bad the big one thought the little one could push us both. I honestly don't know where the kid got that idea.
I think I've had it.
I've been informed that my mom used to be a little crazy. She loved to match my dad, so she would coordinate their outfits every chance she got. Because of her history, one might think she planned this, but she swears she didn't. She, Dad, and I all matched...so we got a picture. Don't I look good?
Grandma wanted a picture of her and Grandpa with all of their grandkids. We had to beg Zoey to stop playing her iPad. She finally graced us with her look quickly before resuming her hard work of touching pictures and hitting the home button.
Of course there had to many moments of picture taking. And of course it took much time to get everyone together to take it. Here is a failed attempt at a picture because they forgot to even include my poor dad.
Once everyone was finally there, we could get a picture! Oh, Wait! Zoey forgot to pay attention!
There we go! Us men usually don't have so much time to devote to picture taking. Next time I will refuse a little more.

They kept putting me so close to that baby that I just couldn't help myself any longer. I just HAD to touch her.

Pictures
I've been very busy. Here are some pictures to keep you stalkers, er, readers satisfied.
Cooking with Mama (which I still have yet to verbalize - even though I have said duck, fish, bye, and even Laerin!)
Playing with my best friend
Working on my box emptying skills. I'm still awesome.

A big cousin
The day has finally come! I've been dreaming of this day for months. I am no longer just a baby. I'm a big cousin. I know, I know, this might not seem like a big deal to most of my dear readers, but I assure you, it is big. Like Mt. Everest big. Huge. You see, I have four big cousins. One helps take care of me, two play around me and take my toys, and one pokes me. That it. It's high time I have someone under my control! That's why I thought I would take baby Claire on a ride. I think she enjoyed me pushing her.
I think it rocked her to sleep.
Big sister Zoey didn't care to partake in the pushing of the baby. She would rather spend her time reading.
I guess she got her full of pushing babies around when I was born.
