Nine month check up

Torture, torture, torture. You would think those skilled in the medical profession would have the means to not torture their patients. Unfortunately that is no the case. Every single time I visit the doctor, they stick me with something!!!  I changed doctors this month, so you might think that this new doctor would have a new way of handling his super cute and innocent baby clients. Nope. 

They forced my dad to hold me in this chair while they took my blood!!!  Just stole it right out of my finger!!!  I would like to know exactly what they plan on doing with that blood. 

 At least I got a cool bandaid for my troubles. Gave me something to do at least. I was successful at pulling it off before we even made it to the car. 

Car shopping fun

 MMy mom has informed me that "back in her day" car shopping wasn't nearly as fun as it is today. Last night Dad went to look at cars (again!) and I was greeted by a huge fish tank!

I liked the fish so much that I said "a-sh" when my mom told me what they were called. 

Believe it or not, the fish weren't even the coolest part!  They had a super fun play room. 

I had to take a break from all the fun to look at the cute baby in the mirror. 

I can't wait to go back when I get bigger and play in the jump house they have!!

Even more family

I must apologize. It has been too long since I last posted. I have been very busy, you know. 

I got to go to my very first wedding!  Mommy said she was too busy watching me to get a picture, though. So, you'll just have to take my word that it was super fun!

My Mimi, Papa, Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Todd, and cousins Laerin, Keagan, and Chase all came to visit me. The last time they were all here was when I was first born!  It sure took them long enough to come back!

I went swimming in my clothes

And the adventure park

I learned how to play at the mall

I also learned to clap this week!  I'm just too good. 

It's started

I've now joined another group of wonderful, fellow children for a play group. That makes my ever expanding social calendar even more full!  It's worth it since they have these cool blocks I can climb. 

And they provide me with numerous items on which I can pull up. 

Mom says I'm in to everything. I don't know where she got that idea...

She even put locks on the cabinets!!  Now what am I supposed to do when she's in the kitchen?

I'm off for now...gotta fly. 

Shark bait and sleep

After my bath recently I was attacked!  A SHARK had found its way into our house and it ate me right up!

Please ignore the fact that my dad looks like an absolute weirdo in this picture. I often have a hard time claiming both he and my mom. 

My mom and dad have been working extremely hard to help me learn to sleep at night. I greatly enjoy my night wakings and I thought they did to!  I mean...my mom gets to wake up and hold and feed me numerous times!  Who wouldn't like that?! Although I loved my night wakings, they were exhausting and I often found myself overly tired during the day. That's why I was glad to see these books go back to the library. 

That means I'm finally sleeping at night!  I usually get up just once or twice after my mom goes to bed. We both love our extra special night cuddles now. 

While at the library I decided to ride the tiger again. That thing loves me!

I also helped my mom pick out some new books to read. She was very the thankful. 

More family

Another busy, yet fun weekend here in Casa de Logan-and-Parents. Last weekend my grandparents come to visit and this weekend my other grandparents came to visit!  I'm a little more than lucky!  Along with Grandma and Grandpa was Aunt Beth, Uncle Marty, and Cousin Zoey!  

We had to clean before they could come play. I, of course, was a great help. 

When they came we went to Exploration Place. Dad tried to feed me to a dinosaur! 

I also got to fly a plane!

Who knew Grandpa could fly?

I dared fate as I rode atop an airplane. 

And I played. 

And played. 

And played. 

And played. 

We played so much it exhausted our daddies and grandpa to watch us. 

This weekend came with so much fun!  I can't wait to see them all again!

Independence Day

Happy Independence Day!  I had fun playing at my friend's house. We had a big ol' cookout. Too bad my parents made me come home before the fireworks. They said it was my bedtime!  Can you believe them?

Just Keep Swimming

You don't know what a big deal family visiting is until you live an excruciatingly long car trip away. Well, I just assume this is true as I have spent my whole life like this and I know no different. Anyway, the point is that I was glad when Mimi, Papa, and Cousin Laerin came to visit for a long weekend. 

I wasn't having a good few days before they came to visit. I didn't feel well and had a fever. Even Mom's wrap couldn't keep me happy. 

She thought bubbles would make me feel better. 

She was mistaken. 

Luckily I got to feeling better just I time to enjoy a weekend full of water. We got to go swimming at the hotel. 

Then went to the water park. 

After more swimming at the hotel pool, we decided to get a pool all of my very own!  I tested out the water to make sure I would like it. 

It was perfect!

I also got my new swing put up. It is baby approved! 

Unfortunately my fun time had to end when my company left and I was left with a cold!

What a bad start and end to an otherwise perfect weekend.
